In recent years, my country’s installed power generation capacity has continued to increase and has maintained a growing trend. From 2012 to 2019, my country’s cumulative installed power generation capacity has increased from 1.147 billion kilowatts to 20.11 kilowatts. However, after 2015, the growth rate of installed capacity has shown a downward trend. In 2019, the year-on-year growth rate of installed capacity in my country was 5.84%.

In 2019, among the national installed capacity of power generation, thermal power installed capacity was 1.191 billion kilowatts, accounting for 59.2% of total installed capacity; hydropower installed capacity was 356 million kilowatts, accounting for 17.7% of total installed capacity; nuclear power, wind power, and solar power installed capacity split 48.74 million Kilowatts, 210 million kilowatts and 205 million kilowatts. The total installed capacity of clean energy has reached 820 million kilowatts, accounting for 40.8% of the total installed capacity.
